Remember this> The bitterness of a “bad project” well outlives the sweetness of a “good deal”
This family unfortunately hired a bad company. Anyone with a truck and a wheelbarrow may call themselves a tradesman or a company. Be sure to check them out!
This guy set up camp for 3 months at this families home, made a mess and did a horrible job to boot! We (Hansen Landscape) where called in to finish the job. We have to (unfortunately at additional cost to this homeowner) “remove” the other guys wall before we can even start.
This experience, while a costly mistake, was even more devastating mentally to this homeowner. Three months of dealing with this guy was a horrible experience. Once you hire a contractor, you are now joined at the hip for the duration of the job and long after with the result.
When hiring a contractor, remember these two important rules:
- Check out who you hire. The bit of time to do this is well worth the effort to avoid hiring a bad company.
- The bitterness of a “bad project” well outlives the sweetness of a “good deal”
