Manu has been part of Hansen Landscape for more than three decades. Today, he is our master irrigation specialist and manages irrigation activities for our landscape projects.

From helping for a day to building a career
Manu has the distinction of being the first official employee of Hansen Landscape.
Steve first met Manu at a small project where Steve and his father were working. Manu was a friend of the client and had recently arrived from Iran. Looking for something to do, he came outside and offered to help them with the project.
A few days later, Steve and his father were leaving their house for work when they happened to see Manu walking nearby. He was not busy, so he jumped into the truck with them—and, as the story goes, he never left.
For the first few years, Manu worked side by side with Steve. In those early days, the two of them handled every part of the work and each wore many hats.
Over the years, Manu developed extensive irrigation knowledge and became a dependable resource for the entire Hansen Landscape team.

When he is not working on irrigation systems and landscape projects, Manu enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and staying active.
